Hi all - thought it was time to start a new thread that dealt with electives. I'll start!! Business Comm - has anyone in Prof F's class gotten their book review completed? I am up to word 1150 or so ... and still have my evaluation and conclusion to add. Not sure what he is looking for - the last "book report/review" I did was 40 years ago! I don't think he minds .. verbose! I got an "excellent" on everything I have submitted so far that has gone over the required ...
The detailed description goies under reason for writing or whatever that first heading is. Detailed plan of attack goes under the next 2 - where you are getting info and what you expect to find. No sources - I did the broad professional journals and national clearinghouse data bases, personal interviews.
Oh for Pete's sake! I got a 4.4 out of 5 on my planning document - you needed to further expand on your research information and how it will apply to fixing this communication issue. Also, please make it more personal - you are focusing too much on procedural issues. Well really?? When you work with a nurse that refuses to budge and "is doing nothing wrong" in his opinion - you change the procedure because you won't change him!!! This class will be the death of me ....
I am also debating which one of the classes to take for my junior level comp and cross cultural perspective class. So Prof. P is the way to go for Business comp then?
I had asked my academic advisor if I could test out of a language class since my first language is German and many languages are listed under that category, but she told me there is no way to test out of it and I could take "a elementary level German class at a local community college to receive credit and that can be transferred to OU". LOL at that. It is all about the money.

Challenge it at the Jr College - get the grade and transfer it.
