Have any of you attended UC's accelerated program? I have been seriously considering going that route instead of going elsewhere for an ADN program.
However, i haven't taken the GRE or the pre-reqs they require. Can i still apply now to see if i get in, or do i need to take the GRE and pre-reqs first?
If you have gone there, how was the program?
Sorry that I didn't see your post before now. I graduated from the UC Wandering Decelerated Pathway program 8/07, and highly recommend it.
If you attend the program, I think you'd both love and hate it. At times, it's disorganized & frustrating. You'll be constantly busy (except on your between-quarter breaks), and working to keep up with classroom assignments, studying, quizzes/tests/papers/projects/.... Having strong organizational skills certainly helps with any accelerated program.
That being said, I'd certainly do it all again.
The program director is truly wonderful. Some of the profs are merely clueless, some are excellent, others are paranoid. Such is life!
If you've not taken the GRE yet, STUDY STUDY STUDY. Score well on the GRE to qualify for the UC Graduate Scholarship
(covered 60% of tuition while I attended the program).
