Need Help!!!

U.S.A. Ohio

Greetings! I have been trying to find a program in or not far from Toledo Ohio that doesn't have a long wait. I am looking for LPN or RN programs. I am from Detroit and havent heard too much about some of the schools. I seen something about Professional Skills school of Nursing, Brown Mackie-Findly, Mercy College of NW Ohio, and Medical University of Ohio. If anyone can provide insight or have suggestions it would be helpful.

Congrads to everyone that is where they wanted to be and those that are on the way.

I do not have information regarding these schools but I do know most colleges and other training programs have a two year wait.

Roads is a school in Lima, I am pretty sure they have an LPN to RN program. In my LPN class I heard girls in my class talking about it. I never checked into it just b/c it too far of a drive from where I live. Hope that helps. I think they are like a trade school and most of them don't have as long of a wait.

MUO is a 4-year school and you apply to either Bowling Green State University or the University of Toledo. You take pre-reqs at either school and then apply your 2nd year to MUO. They only have seats for a select number of people so there is a possibility you wouldn't get in your first try and then you'd have to wait a whole year to reapply.

I go to Mercy and there are now day and evening classes available but only RN. We don't have an LPN program. Owens has a crazy wait list and supposedly Lourdes is getting full. I'm not sure about Mercy's list but I would call anyway. it's a great school! Good luck!

Well, guys I went back up to Brown Mackie and will be starting May 29.:balloons:

I started at Brown Mackie on the 29th and yesterday completed my first month(Intro to Nursing) I was upset with myself for having a 84%. I started and then you really start meeting people and the shocking stories begin. I try not to injest the details because every school and programs has its share of drama. It is a business and money being made is a key factor. Tuesday I start my computer class and the July I will be in Skills 1. I am working hard to work on things that I find as learning flaws but I keep praying and really thank you all for the encouragement and assistance that has, and will be provided. :roll

Is the Brown Mackie program expensive? It is LPN correct?
