Off topic: How do you keep house?

My house keeping has gotten so bad lately, that today my husband threatened to hire a cleaning lady. I called his bluff and guess what? He called a cleaning lady to come in and start this friday! :yeah: I'm so thrilled & relieved. It's been terrible trying to keep the house clean with 3 messy kids and a pig of a husband. How do you all handle juggling classes, studying, working, running kids around while keeping the house clean? I feel so blessed to finally get help!

Yeah that's what I don't get in regards to husbands and kids. Why don't they just throw them away. My dh uses those floss things and the end of them can be used as a toothpick. He leaves them and used q-tips laying around. Ewwww! Even stranger than gross he uses those floss things to floss the dogs teeth and they enjoy it! :chuckle

This is veering slightly off topic, but have you ever caught your dh using a cooking pot to soak his feet? I have! (Except it was my husband, not your's...:roll) It made me feel like cooking him some spaghetti in that pot the next night. He couldn't understand the big deal- 'it's washed in hot water before you use it again'. Sigh.

My dh used my new 12qt dutch oven to change the oil in the car! Feet in the pot is yucky bad too!
