Anyone starting the September 2015 LPN program at OCVTS-Toms River? So far I passed the TEAS, finished criminal background check, along w/ drug screening. Met up w/ Financial Aid, all set. Now have my interview April 13th! I am psyched. Was looking for people who are in the same boat as me, and possibly future study buddies :)

Walmart has scrubs for $5.96 top or bottom in royal blue, navy blue, black, emerald green, white and ceil blue. Save some $$ if your school uses one of these colors!

Justbeachynurse, thanks! I will definitely check Walmart out. I think our school uses Royal blue and white, from what I've read so far, so that'll be perfect. Thanks for the info :)

PennyMT you can buy the royal blue from Walmart if you find them for that price I just brought scrubs from Walmart for work and they were all 14.97. Also the white scrubs have to come from the uniform store because it's a certain type and everyone have to have the same ones. By all means anyway you can save money do so because it is rough but the white scrubs if you don't get them from a graduating student must come from the uniform store.

GLegrandesGirl, I will just pick up a few pairs of the royal blues for now, and I'll worry about the whites later, since we have time for the whites anyway. This is exciting!

Yes do that I need blues also I am going as cheap as possible lol. Buy barnes and nobles in brick is a good spot and the library at OCC is good also but we will plan it in July. I am so excited

That's true Barnes and Nobles is a good quiet spot, or the library, but do we need to be students in OCC to use their library? I don't see that being a problem really. I am right up the road from Barnes, we will switch spots to make it easier for everyone. Yes, let's def start our planning in July, we got some time. But I hope it flies by, because I'm so anxious to start Lol

Hey lady @PennyMT no we can go to OCC they have study rooms we could also use. We used them last year and we also went to BN a lot. Yes I am ready to get started myself. I started reading already since I have last years syllabus and my books. But I will share any info I have to help you also

Hey GLegrandesGirl, OCC sounds great, or BN. I can't wait to start studying. Wish I had my books, but can't afford it. Hope that financial aid covers these expenses, but have a feeling they don't. Lol. Do we get the books from the school, or online? Can you PM me which books are needed, so I can keep a look out for them? I'd like to get a head start as well! Thank SO much! And so look forward to studying with you :)
