If you are taking NCLEX in October as I am here is a place to get motivated. As of today you have approximately 4-8 weeks to prepare for this life changing test. That is more than enough time if you haven't started yet.
Now crack open whatever review book you have and hit it because now is the time to begin. Start typing :typing those review sheets, looking over rationales start with the stuff you know you need help with and feel like because by the end of your study time you'll be up to the stuff you do know and you'll hopefully feel more comfortable at test time... or maybe you won't.
Anybody else motivating tips, or study tips for NCLEX
Im taking the NCLEX for the 2nd time and I heard the pass rate is something outrageous like 50%. Obviously this makes me terrified, but not enough to spend my entire day studying. Ive been taking it slow, trying to absorb the information and think about how to answer the questions. When I get them wrong I look them up.
I was looking at my candiate report and I realized I did poorly in every area so Im getting nervous. My Kaplan scores arent quite what I hoped but are improving.
I would suggest running daily.. Ive been doing that lately and Its helping me relax!
hey guys i am new to the thread, but i have been reading the post for a while. i took my exam this morning and i can still feel the knot in my stomach. i have been doing pretty good in school but i guess at the end of the day it does not mean that with the guys of the board. i stopped at 75 i could not just believed, i was shaking but yes that was it. i had atleast 8 SATA and a lot of meds and psych too. it was ridiculous. i can't sleep, i hardly eat i don't know what to do. One thing atleast i know is to just keep praying, God is wonderful!!! did anybody tried the pearson trick? oh my gosh i tried i had the pop up windows but my thing is my status is still "Ready to deliver" then i don't think it means anything, Please God helped me...
Congrats to all those who passed so far, Good job guys...
Hopefully you will hear Good news shortly! What state do you live in? I live in PA and i took it yesterday morning and my license was issued this morning @ 8:34....I would have hated waiting through the weekend ! Stay calm.
thank you. I live in WV and will be taking my boards at the end of this month. I am so happy for you!

Just study and do questions and read the rationales. You can do it. I exercise daily and I think it helps me too. When are you taking them again? I will be praying for you.
