OCCC Traditional Fall 2022

Haven't seen a post for this yet but since applications are open I figured I'd start one! Anyone else trying to get in for this fall? How many points are you applying with?

I think they’ve called and asked. But I’m not sure who they called specifically

My advisor told me that for last fall there were over 300 applications turned in. I'm really hoping that's not the case this fall!

I called and asked but the person who knows is at lunch. I’m going to call back again later to get the answer. 

OUHSC accepted 550 students for their fall (insane amount) so maybe there aren’t as many applying at the other schools.

This was my exact thinking! Ou didn’t turn down any qualified applicants, so I’m thinking most accepted it!

Called back!  She was VERY nice and said that it was somewhere around 220 ish applications. 
 

She asked how many preference points I applied with and said 19 was super good (big emphasis) so it sounds like 16-17 is probably “good” if 19 is “super good”. 

Hopefully we hear something soon!

That’s crazy low compared to other semesters! I wonder if with less applications we have a chance at finding out next Friday. I called the health division of the school this morning to try and get an answer but they said they didn’t deal with applications when I called. Is that who you spoke with?

Yeah. When I called the first time a lady answered and said the person who would know was at lunch. The second time I got a guy who transferred me to the head of the nursing department (I think that’s who she said she was? But she may not be the head of it).
