Haven't seen a post for this yet but since applications are open I figured I'd start one! Anyone else trying to get in for this fall? How many points are you applying with?
anyone? Not a lot of Oklahoma activity here I guess...

I’m trying to get in for this fall! Looking at applying with either 16/17 points depending on how I finish in one of my four week courses. Hopefully that is enough. What about you?
pending my anatomy grade I could have 17 or 19 (I'm right on the verge of getting a point for my GPA if I do well enough in anatomy, plus the extra point for a science class grade).
From past cohorts it looks like anything 17 and up is pretty solid! and depending on the year and how competitive it is some 16s usually get in too.
Are you in an accelerated anatomy course? I thought they just based your GPA off of whatever you have by the deadline of the application.
Yeah I'm in A&P1 and Chemistry with lab right now, both 8 week courses that finish the first week of March. I'll be turning my application in at the last minute, but I needed the classes first. I've still got A&P2, intro to psych and Microbiology left to finish late Spring term and Summer.
What all do you have left?
I am in Chemistry right now, but I won’t have that grade finalized until after applications unfortunately! I have finished all my other courses. I think the only thing outside of nursing classes I would have to take would be the history course!

I plan on applying as well! I'm hoping to have 17 points. I just need an A in the A&P II class I'm currently taking and higher than a 79 on the TEAS. Fingers crossed! I'll have an AS in Diversified Studies after the Spring semester, but not in time for it to count for this application..
Hopefully we’ll all make it in with 17+! Not sure how competitive this fall will be.
I would think we'd be good with 17+, but it seems like the last few application cycles have been extra competitive.
I also applied to UCO. I'd be happy getting accepted into either program!
I strongly considered uco! It’s so close to my house and would be super convenient (it’s actually where I got my first bachelors), but there are so many more classes for the BSN than the ADN, and I’ll still be working full time during school. I figure I’ll do an RN to BSN online later.
Definitely not looking forward to driving to occc all the time LOL
I'm actually the opposite as far as distance...ha. I'm way closer to OCCC. I already have 60-something credits from UCO, so I figured I should apply there also.
I'm leaning towards OCCC though. The course load at UCO definitely looks pretty daunting and I'll also need to work while in school! I like the idea of getting the BSN out of the way, but the RN to BSN seems like it would be a great option and wouldn't take that much longer.
