Haven't seen a post for this yet but since applications are open I figured I'd start one! Anyone else trying to get in for this fall? How many points are you applying with?

It really is bitter sweet. Thank you for saying that. He has had a very long road to this acceptance letter. Been in college for 6yrs LOL. What is 6 more months right? LOL

My friends mom went back at 45! And I’ve seen lots of people even older than that in some facebook groups. 

it’s never too late!

 

 

and let’s be honest, 32 and 38 are basically the same to young 20s ??

I totally get that as I’ve been at it for 7 years LOL. Nothing in life comes easy, right? The long journey is going to make us both amazing nurses one day! I really needed a spot this fall though, because as a military wife I never know how long we’ll be in one spot. Luckily, I know we’ll be here until the Summer of ‘24! So literally JUST enough time.

I know I’m not TECHNICALLY in yet but I had 16 points and a 2.909 GPA!! Is anyone going to make a facebook group? 
Also I’m only 24, but still feel that’s older than most people starting nursing school.

It is definately not easy. If it was everyone would do it. Congratulations on getting this far. Sounds like it is all going to fall right into place for you.

I had 16 points also 3.59 GPA! I’m 33 life takes you many places and I finished pre reqs 8-9 years ago. It wasn’t my time and my life wasn’t ready for this. No matter what the journey or age, it’s ours and we made it! ?
