OCCC Traditional Fall 2021

I just applied to Oklahoma City Community College's traditional program for fall 2021! Anyone else?

if my calculations are correct, I have 17 preference points which is pretty solid. I think 15-16 is usually the cut off, but I know they've had a ridiculous influx of applications the last couple semesters, so we'll see!

Hey ya'll! I applied with 17 points. When I applied for the Spring 2021 cohort I only had 14 and was waitlisted at #45. It sounds like it's going to be really competitive again. Fingers crossed!

If you don’t mind me asking, what GPA did you apply with? I’m soo nervous!!

I applied with a 3.4 GPA! I am really nervous as well, especially considering how many has applied. I really hope we hear back soon!

We should hear back in 2-4 weeks now. Seems like quite a few of us have 17+ points so it's probably super competitive. Fingers crossed!

I applied to the Fall 2021  nursing program too! I applied with 18 points and a 3.9 GPA. I just wish we could hear back already all this waiting is killing me haha.  I talked to the nursing advisor too and got a Lil discouraged with over 400 applicants trying for the fall. Keeping my fingers crossed and checking  all the time.  Gah I'm so nervous!

you probably don't have much to worry about with 18 points honestly !

I definitely have been, Michelle! ? Most of you are in the high points range, so I’m not feeling super confident.  Maybe by some miracle I’ll squeak through, though. LOL

Does anyone know how many spots are available?

I am so anxious!!

From my previous advisor, she stated that there are about 70 spots available.
