OCCC Traditional Fall 2021

I just applied to Oklahoma City Community College's traditional program for fall 2021! Anyone else?

if my calculations are correct, I have 17 preference points which is pretty solid. I think 15-16 is usually the cut off, but I know they've had a ridiculous influx of applications the last couple semesters, so we'll see!

I applied today with 16 points.  I’m nervous it’s not enough, but I guess we’ll see!  Good luck!

I’ve been reading old threads from others applying past semesters and it seems like there’s really no way to know, even though everyone is dying to find out!  LOL

I’d say you’re definitely safe with 17, though!

16 is also a good number! We should hear back between April 30th & May 14th. Fingers crossed!

I applied for Spring 2021 w/13 points and was waitlisted #85. I applied for Fall 2021 with 15 points and I am a bit worried it is too low! That’s all the points I could get, so fingers crossed. I know not all 15’s get in, so I am super nervous.

Good luck! I hope you do get in.

Thanks! I am really curious about how may applicants they had this time around.

I asked the nursing advisor and she said they received almost 400 applications.

Oh gosh! That’s very discouraging! I called Redlands Community College and they aren’t accepting any nursing applications until next year. I am assuming that’s one of the reasons that their are so many applicants.

Oh wow! The Spring batch of applications was supposedly the most they had ever gotten up to that point. Now they have even more? Sounds like it will be another competitive cohort.

I was accepted for the Spring but turned it down because my kids' school was moved to distance learning. I received my associates degree in December and applied again for the fall with 20 preference points.

Good luck, everyone!

Yeah I'm pretty worried about the number of applications but I'm sure you'll get in with 20!

Hey ya'll! I applied with 17 points. When I applied for the Spring 2021 cohort I only had 14 and was waitlisted at #45. It sounds like it's going to be really competitive again. Fingers crossed!
