OCCC Spring 2011 hopefulls!!!!!

Hi all...I didnt get in for the fall but I am trying again for the Spring 2011...just seeing who else is trying for Spring...I am more excited this time because I have more points this time and if it is about the same as it was for the fall I should get in with out a problem :D

I have: 17pts, and 3.25 GPA

i cant really enroll cause im using the gi bill and if they put in one class then i change it it will mess it up and delay all the payments and stuff

eh the shots arent to bad, i dont like them either i just turn my head and close my eyes, i did those before fall cause i applied then to so all i got left is the flu shots and the tb tests, i got lucky and found all my shot records from when i was a kid so i have proof of the 2 mmrs though maybe i should get a titer just in case. and i just finished the hep b in july so i should be good

I am so ready to get the letter, too! I am so excited when I go to get the mail, and then, :crying2:...so sad. I have been taking care of the shots, also. Do you all know which stethoscope you will buy? Some say go cheap, but I found one I really like! Just afraid to but it too soon!

I got a littman cardiac 2, figured id get a good one so i can hear what i need to hear, plus so that it lasts, i spent the extra money now which i guess may be silly but i got it engraved also so it cant wonder off no where.

at least you know if the mailman knocks on the door or you get a certified mail thing with your regular mail that you got in.

i think its never to soon to buy it because you are going to need it eventually anyways, at least thats what i told myself when i bought it

if you go to the school website and type in nursing handbook it will pull it up.

yay...it will make you feel good, and then it makes it seem so real when you actually get it off the delivery truck

and get to test it out, im so excited for the letters, i wanna go do more shopping lol

Ok guys, just wanted to give you a update. I was at school today, and I went by the admissions office to find out when the letters will be mailed out. The lady at the desk said they will be mailing them out sometime next week. I asked her how do u know and she said bcuz im the one who will be getting them ready. So cross your fingers! I hope everyone gets in!!!!!!!!!

Well I am glad to hear that they will be mailing them out sometime next wqeek... I hope that it is monday because I am sooooo nerve wrecked waiting!!! Plus I got my verification letter a day after you guys did which means I gotta wait longer :( oh well! thanks for the advice on the supplies list! Good luck all!
