OCCC Spring 2011 hopefulls!!!!!

Hi all...I didnt get in for the fall but I am trying again for the Spring 2011...just seeing who else is trying for Spring...I am more excited this time because I have more points this time and if it is about the same as it was for the fall I should get in with out a problem :D

I have: 17pts, and 3.25 GPA

Yup, it's me.... If I find anything out, I'll let you know. Did you get the video's finished? I still have the last one that wasn't on the list HIPAA 2010. I was going to watch that on Jan 3rd. When I get my books.

Hey guys, just wanted to say hi. I have been reading the site for a while but never registered until I saw this thread. I got in for spring 2011 traditional and was at the orientation with all of you. Out of curiosity, where in the OKC area are you guys? I'm in East Norman and I was wanting to start networking to find study buddies who lived fairly close to me. I'm in clinical group 6, the one going to Grady and Grace in Norman on Fridays.

Also, has anyone had any luck getting their hands on a Lewis or Wikinson yet? I got pretty much everything I need from Amazon, including the study guide and clinical companion for Lewis, but the actual books are still out of stock. I really wanted to start my readings early while I have plenty of time this holiday.

HI Corey; I have been working on the video's and my community service until my books arrive. I also have Friday clinicals at Grace and ISBC Group 3 unless it changes. I too live east Norman, we should meet at B&N some day for coffee. I think the class should get together Thursday Jan 13 in the Cafeteria for an informal meet up. Since class will normally meet up at 5:30 that should be the time.

I'm also in group 6... Grace Living and Grady Memorial... I live in Chickasha... I'm getting my books from amazon, there are some that are on back-order... maybe those are the ones! Great knowing you guys are in my group! And you obviously care, because you're on here.... Let's hope that together we can get through this!!!

For "organization" on the notebook and dividers and things like that I just put the orientation things in the first tab and started the second with the first week things. I have my service learning planned out for beginning of the semester since we can't do it before the 18th, and have organized and coordinated my weeks with my family on how I will be studying and how long. As far as what to study and when I am just going to go with what will be assigned for each week. I have already started week 1 and will be getting the pod casts as soon as I can or if they are available as soon as I figure out how.

As far as the notebook (paper is what I assume) I just got a 5 subject notebook and was going to go thru that while we went thru theory and things, nothing special on that. Just like those better than loose paper. And I am only using my huge 3 ring binder for the first semester. I hope this helped some, a lot, or just let ya know how crazy I am I guess?!? See ya soon!
