OCCC Spring 2011 hopefulls!!!!!

Hi all...I didnt get in for the fall but I am trying again for the Spring 2011...just seeing who else is trying for Spring...I am more excited this time because I have more points this time and if it is about the same as it was for the fall I should get in with out a problem :D

I have: 17pts, and 3.25 GPA

Hello! I applied for Spring 2011. I can't stand the waiting! 16 points I'm hoping will be enough.

Hello, welcome to the waiting game...hopefully it shouldnt be to much longer since we already got the verification letters...its nerve racking...it took a whole lot longer last semester just to get the verification letters...

Have a question for you guys. Does anyone know if the acceptance letters come as Certified mail?

the acceptance letters come certified the wait list/denial letters come regular mail

I think they will be coming in by the end of this month, if not the first week of November.

UGH...im going nuts...they need to hurry up it should be soon hopefully...last spring from the posts they got the "LETTERS" about 10-12 after the verification, and I know in the fall it was about 2 weeks after so fingers crossed its next week...tomorrow would be even better lol..u would think they would hurry in case we dont get in so we can register for other classes that we would want before they are all filled up....im getting so nervous..ive kept some nerves quiet by buying some supplies (silly i know but figured i would eventually need the anyways, so its not really wasting money :-) ):uhoh3:

I know seriously I hate waiting!! But I would go ahead and enroll in all the classes you want for next semester if you are not accepted.. then if you do get accepted you can just go online and drop those classes and then enroll in nursing.. they won't charge you any fees or anything. and that way you are covering yourself. I hope it comes in next week!!! The thing I'm kinda nervous about is getting shots.. i hate shots :(
