OCCC BADNAP-Spring 2021

Published

Hello Everyone! This thread is for students applying to the BADNAP program for Spring 2021.

I emailed my advisor last week to see if I could get any info, but no response yet. Im not good at waiting ?

The wait is just so nerve racking .But am pretty sure any one who is done with prerequisites will get in.Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone.

Hi guys! I spoke to ----------------------- on Friday and she told me they received around 200 applications. She said as long as you are tier one you should be fine. We should hear back no later than 4 weeks.

Wow that's a lot of people! What exactly is tier one?

Tier one means you have completed all your bachelor's and all pre-requisite  coursework prior to application deadline.

They told another student they only received 120 apps. I am not sure what to believe .

I just finished my last pre-req this early fall semester. Hopefully they take that into account.

I don’t know which one to believe either but I hope we find out soon.

Hi everyone!

Since tomorrow will be 3 weeks since the application deadline, just wanted to see if anyone has heard any updates? I still have no response from my advisor.

Still crickets on my end. I looked up the traditional student apps and it took them almost 4 weeks to hear back. I suspect we will hear something around the middle of next week if our applications are going to be comparable to them.

This waiting game really sucks!

Hi,

Has anyone heard back yet?

No, I'm getting anxious too. Maybe the ice storm set them back a bit?

I was thinking that since the campus was closed for a few days last week and with so many not having electricity, it may push everything back.  Hopefully this week is the week!
