Hello all ?

I am applying for Oakland Community College Nursing program in a few weeks and have loads of questions. Are you applying too? What's the GPA cut off? If you've graduated from or attended the program, how was/is it? Which is better, fall or winter start?

I am excited to apply and excited to meet other applying as well! We've got this!

I misspoke, I checked my letter from last year and the cut off was 13.6

Hopefully this year it will be lower ???. I'm so nervous.

Doesn't it depend on an accumulation of all of the scores? @Magda EM don't stress yet, if you go back and read forums from a few years ago the cut off has been around 12!

@knrogers54321 it does depend on the accumulation, and you're right, the cut off has been around 12. Lets not forget that if for some reason there are more seats than applicants, then everyone will get accepted. With the amount of students I have spoken to that have had to retake courses (especially A&P), it seems like the cut off will hopefully follow suit and be around 12!

Also, I am in class at OU today until noon. I'll be calling highland lakes once I am out to see if they will tell me anything ?

I'm hoping for lower too since I've pretty much maxed my points out unless I retake comp 2 for an A instead of a B+ which I dont want to do at all but it would give me an extra .4

@Asidelko I wonder if they're still going over applications to figure out what the cut off is. Did you just ask to talk to someone? We all know how grumpy counselors can be ?

@Reginastevens I've called twice and I keep getting told to call back the next day....its like a damn cat and dog chase at this point ?
