oakland community college/Baker college

How long does it generally take to get into OCC? I'm in Arizona right now on a 2-3 year wait list. I plan to move to Michigan at some point with my family and think it might be a good idea to move first if the wait list/time is shorter.

I am also hoping to get some info on Baker college.

-Is it as bad as some of the reviews say it is?

-Would you hire me if I came from that school?

I'm a vet with some GI Bill funds so cost is an issue but not as much especially if there is no waiting to get in.

The reviews are hard to gauge because I know that people who post reviews are generally motivated by bad experiences vs people that are content

I'm originally from Michigan- Baker college really hasn't had great ratings in nursing in a long time. I honestly haven't heard anything good from the college itself. I would look at NCLEX pass rates and retention rates to evaluate a program on a basic level.

OCC nursing program does not have a waitlist, applicants apply by December 15, receive acceptance march of the following year and can choose to take classes in the summer which is may or fall-august.
