Oakland community college 2016 applicants

Hello everyone,,

is is anyone here waiting for their acceptance letter to Oakland community college? Also are there any students here that is currently in the program? I am really pump to get started and is looking for any advice I can receive about the program in general.

I meant, "I am from Macomb". Car pooling will be a super good idea. It'll help to keep each other in check too. Does any body have any money they want to give me to pay for school?

perfect! I'm glad everyone's on the same page with the idea! I live in Roseville right now, not far from Macomb community college actually but wanted to get in anywhere I could for nursing. Haha I feel you though with the money situation, gonna be a rough two years.

Does anyone know how much the pharmacology class costs? I want to take it in the summer because I prefer the fall semester but I don't know if I'll be able to afford it out of pocket.

All I know is that it's a two credit hour class. Some people were talking about getting books online or "borrowing" them online. I feel like school is going to be hard enough, and they want us to pay for it too! He he ha ha

I agree! I'll be worried enough about my classes I don't want to be worried about paying for them too! One other question for all of you guys: if we do get picked for the winter semester and take pharmacology in the fall, do we have to take 10 other credit hours so we're considered full time?

I thing pharm will cost $300 dollars or less if you are out of district.

That's what I was thinking too. I might just opt to take pharmacology in the fall and take other classes with it for my bsn

Yea that makes sense,, just don't overwhelm yourself by taking too many classes tho. I heard pharm is a beast.

I would definitely stick to the minimum of 12 credits if I took it in the fall!
