NYU New Grad Residency 2023

Decided to post a new forum here for all of us applying for the Spring 2023 Nursing Residency Program!

I'm not too sure about the city hospitals, but NYU LI is starting base is 106k but that doesn't include shift diff, BSN diff and Specialty diff. 

Also the city Hospital is unionized, I might be wrong but if they are, than everything should be clearly marked in the collective bargaining agreement.

does anyone know how long to wait to expect to hear back after an interview with a nurse manager from NYU?

I applied at 1:30 am and that same day around 10:30 am my application was listed as "under review" and a recruiter reached out to me to have an interview via Webex. I was asked the regular interview questions "tell me about yourself", "why NYU?", "why Nursing?" and so forth. I was then scheduled to meet with the Nurse Manager 2 days later. My interview was a mix of behavioral questions and 2-3 clinical scenario questions which were tough. Does anyone know who reaches out to you with an offer? and how soon? I just sent a Thank You email but I was nervous and forgot to ask.

Did you hear back yet? I had an interview on the same day and am waiting to hear back

LOL I don't see forest green for girls tho that's the problem

For yall buying scrubs the official dress code is: hunter green, surgical green, or seafoam green. But tbh there are variations of green that the nurses wear. Figs wise I see alot of the forest green and surgical green.

How long did it take you guys to get information about orientation? Because I start in a week and I haven't heard anything since my onboarding emails
