Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?

Also am I the only one who interviewed for inpatient that hasn't heard anything since the last email?

Same here I applied for perioperative and haven't heard anything. :(

I interviewed for the inpatient and didn't hear back so I emailed the recruiter yesterday and she responded later in the day with a rejection letter.

Are you serious............ They actually made you wait 6 weeks for a response that you had to ask for and was a rejection letter?!? Wow. I'm scared now

Yeah I am pretty pissed about that... Don't be scared, just don't let them waste your time and apply to other places. I hope you will get a better result then me. Good luck!

Just got an email from the periop recruiter saying, "We wanted to check in with you and inform you that we have begun extending offers to those selected thus far. At this time you are still under consideration and we will notify you as soon as we come to a final decision."

Anyone receive a different email?

Has anyone from peri op received an offer?

Got this email and don't think it sounds promising:

Good Afternoon,

We wanted to check in with you and inform you that we have begun extending offers to those selected thus far.

At this time you are still under consideration and we will notify you as soon as we come to a final decision.

As a gentle reminder, this process involves various factors that determine the best candidates for each opportunity so not all final decisions have been made.

We appreciate your patience throughout this process and we will follow up with you as soon as we have more definitive feedback.

We understand that you may have a pending opportunity with another organization. If you wish to withdraw from consideration at this time, please let us know.

I don't know what to take out of it. It doesn't sound good but it doesn't sound horrible. I'm just praying that we hear good news.
