Hello everyone! I made this thread in order to find everyone is also also planning on applying NYU accelerated nursing program. The application for the spring opens on October 1st and I am so excited! :)

Wow that's crazy! Have you tried emailing admissions?

These waiting crap is making me go nuts! Can barely focus with my last prereqs! But congratulations to all who have been accepted! Each day I pray; I even have a collection of lucky charms in my pocket each day, from crickets, a small little Buddha, bamboo sticks, four leaf clover, and a wishing bone!

******I'll just do my paper.. Lol.

anyone else noticing a tuesday/thursday release of admission decisions theme going on? that's what it looks like they are doing to me. so we only have to be going psycho two days out of the week. that's a relief haha :cheeky:

on a side note, i'm glad everyone was able to send in some mid-semester grades!! good luck to you all! it's so irritating that we can't post links, names and email addresses on here.

I got accepted this morning! I don't know what to do now! Does anybody know exactly how much is it? 70 or 90k?

I believe it's around $19k a semester so closer to $80K total, but I'm not sure if anything has changed since I last looked into it.

Did you apply by the priority deadline or reguler? I applied regular and am chewing my nails off waiting!

I applied priority! I still cannot believe that I finally got an answer, was already into other nursing program lol and about to move... No it's 21236 plus extra fees around 3000$ multiply by 4

Hey guys, I applied on September 22 and still haven't heard anything :sniff:

Congrats to everybody who was accepted!! At first I thought, no news is good news, but now I just want an answer! It's not that easy to pack up and move across the country in a month so I really hope they fix their notification system for next year. But either way, I'm hoping I'll hear back soon!...although at this point I don't even know how I'd react lol. Anyone else on the same boat?

I applied by priority, September 25th it was submitted, and I'm still waiting to hear too ): So stressful! Less than month is not enough time to get everything together if we still end up getting in. But the way I look at it, we still haven't gotten "No" emails so that's a plus!

Yup, that might still be a good thing :D I spoke to somebody on the phone yesterday who said we should hear back within 8 weeks after applying....annnnd...this week marks my 8th week. I was also told they send out decisions twice a week (looks like Tuesday and Thursday is the trend), so maybe today is our day? They then transferred me to admissions to have somebody check on the status of my application and I was told that my application has been fully reviewed. So I don't know what's going on anymore.

I'm not sure if that's true because I submitted my application on August 8th, my application status states that I'm a regular decision. It's been 15th week for me and still no decision. Also, some people are getting their notices much earlier and they submitted their application much later than me. Their web site only says that decisions will be emailed first week of December.

I'm thinking that they are filtering for people that are doing well academically and also for people that are not up to their standards. An average of 40K yearly application sounds a lot to me. At this moment, either you get accepted or rejected, and if you don't hear anything by then, most likely a mass email of congratulations will be sent out to everyone. But then again, this is just an assumption and I tend to make an *** out of myself...

My application states that I'm regular decision as well and I actually called them about that several times and they said that everyone's says that -__-

They also told me that they notify on a rolling basis which I think is totally inaccurate because I know that true "regular decision" applicants have already heard back.

im thinking that the regular decision people that have heard back already must have had some amazing credentials. i wouldnt read to much into the fact that we havent heard back even though we are priority; you will just drive yourself crazy. i am actually kinda happy that they are taking their time... it might mean that they are really looking at us in our entirety and not just going off of our GPAs. plus, you havent been rejected yet, so that is good news :)
