NYU ABSN Spring 2021

Hi all. I'm starting a forum for NYU Spring 2021. I know the application goes live soon so might as well make one now.

I applied for Fall 2020 but didn't get in so I'm applying for the second time. Good luck to us all!

Hope this helps! I also think my letters of rec really helped me out, I had an old co-worker who is currently finishing an ABSN program write one and then an MD I worked for write one.

Btw... They only give us a week to accept/decline our offer so they can move on to the next batch, so if you're worried you're out of the game don't give up - it's just the way rolling admissions work I guess!!

I got two emails from NYU this week: one to change password, and one in regards to financial aid.

just got an email from someone from admissions for a midterm report since I have two pre reqs in progress ?

Did people who got accepted get an email about midterm grades? I didn't get one but I got a financial aid letter the other day. Just a bit worried

Hey, that didn't happen to me this time around because I completed all of my courses by time I sent out the application. However, last time I applied they asked me for midterm grades. Probably means that the application is under review. 

I do think it is a point of interest because I was waitlisted shortly after they asked me for my grades.

I did not get an email about midterm grades. I'm currently finishing microbio and they've only asked for my final transcripts after the course is finished.

Did anyone with one prerequisite in progress receive an email about midterm grades? Or do you think you only receive it if you have 2+ outstanding?
