NYU ABSN FAll 2021

Published

Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!

Congrats! I got my acceptance today as well. I have been in a creative field for over a decade, nursing is a complete career change for me. I had a professional letter from an employer, had all A's in my prereq's from a community college, with a pending Microbio class (I expect to get an A), and 3.2 undergrad GPA from a reputable school. I applied before the Priority deadline.

I did not check my checklist at all because I didn't want to spin with anxiety... I got an email today and thats how I found out. So watch your email!

Congrats!!

I also received my acceptance today!! Congrats to everyone else who got in, and good luck to those still waiting!  I'm so excited to get started in the fall!!

OMG congrats to all of you! We will hear soon I'm sure!

Hi for those who got accepted can you please help explain the total cost of the whole 15 month program. Each time I try calling they tell me to look it up online based on the credit. But I can't find the exact cost

anyone have a breakdown of the exact 15 month cost

I e-mailed them a while back and they told me the program will cost roughly 27k per semester. That will be a little different for the new semester when it arrives. Here is the link they gave me: https://www.nyu.edu/students/student-information-and-resources/bills-payments-and-refunds/tuition-and-fees.html?currentOrProspective=prospective&enrollmentType=undergraduate&semester=Spring 2021&school=Rory Meyers College of Nursing

Hi all,

Do we think they're sending out more acceptances today or do we think that they're waiting until next week?

Hi all,

I hope that they release decisions daily or else it would take forever..
