Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!

I wonder if they are grouping acceptances by East Coast and West Coast according to the different time zones? If that is the case, maybe West Coast applicants have not received portal updates yet? My checklist has not changed either LOL
I'm on the East coast and my application checklist is still there. I think they're probably going on a rolling basis and looking at when you sent in all your materials. That's what makes the most sense

So far from this forum, people that applied in March heard back already. I hope we hear back soon! ??

They are definitely going on a rolling basis but I am not sure if when you submitted your materials matter to be honest. There were a couple people in here who got accepted today but submitted their applications mid-March. Honestly, no one knows what the process is like or what to expect. Just have to keep our fingers crossed!

Nothing really makes sense. Some of those admitted submitted after priority deadline.. it might be on a rolling basis but I believe we are grouped based on other things. My checklist has been the same since the first week of February. Everything checked off and all LOR’s submitted. But im not on the strongest side of applicants sadly, so while im keeping my hopes really high, I have noticed that those admitted have very competitive apps.

I applied before those people, so try to be patient! They definitely didn't send out acceptances to everyone who applied in March.

I understand. I have a relatively competitive application and have not heard back. So, try your best to keep your hopes up!!

From what I have seen and heard, they typically send out acceptances on a weekly basis to kind of gauge how many accepted applicants are actually committing to the program. That way they know how many more they can accept. It makes sense, but it also makes the process even longer and more agonizing ?

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I'm so glad I asked ?
When do you guys think they will stop sending out acceptances today? I thought they only sent them out on Fridays, so now I'm super confused
