NYU ABSN Fall 2018

I decided to start a thread for the NYU accelerated nursing program since I have not seen one for fall 2018:)

Hey! I just submitted my application a few weeks ago. Has anyone received any news yet? I have gotten the impression we won't until April......ugh.

Hi everyone! I'm a little confused. Is admissions rolling or does everyone find out around April? People are saying they've been admitted already which would mean it's rolling and we would find out as we applied, right?

They applied for spring and are writing in this forum.

Hello All,

I am new to this and am planning on applying for Fall 2018. I have a BA in Psych, but didn't specifically take developmental, does anyone know if I will still have to take it? I tried emailing them 2 days ago and still haven't gotten any response.

I have applied for the 15 month program. I submitted my application yesterday and received an Alberts Login today.

Have over 300 hours volunteer work in the ER and ICU, shadowing, and work experiences in the medical field within 3-4 years. I have a BA in psychology.

I have friends who had GPA over 3.5-3.8 that got denied for the ABSN program, and heard people with GPA of 2.6-2.9 got in.. we just have to wait and see what happens :(

I sent in my application February 13, As and Bs in prerequisites and C in statistics , overall gpa 3.7 , I have no idea where I stand! Fingers crossed !

I'm in the same boat as you are. A's and B's for prerequisites but C in statistics. Overall GPA 3.5. I also have no clue where I stand, either! I sent in my application january 3rd

Hi all!

I have applied for the fall! I am so anxious to hear back from the admissions office! I called the office today to inquire about my application status and they told me they have recieved most of my documents with the exception of 1 transcript. I hate when transcripts take for ever. Im so excited to attend NYU but so anxious at the time. I hear that april is when decisions go out. fingers crossed. My stats are

Gpa: 3.17

Pre-Reqs Gpa: 3.6

2 letters of recommendation from professors

Essay is ok. (Im never confident in my writing, even though it was approved by friends) lol

I would say fall is harder to get in than spring because it is a bigger cohort. NYU accepts a broad spectrum of people with different grades and experiences and you will know that when you start talking to other new students. Good luck to everyone !

Hi all:) I have completed my application for fall '18 and am anxiously awaiting decision! I just wanted to connect with others .

I was accepted to a few other programs but NYU would be amazing. Good luck everyone!
