NYU ABSN Fall 2018

Published

Hello all,

I decided to start a thread for the NYU accelerated nursing program since I have not seen one for fall 2018:)

Did anyone else apply for regular decision? If so, have you heard anything back yet?

I applied regular decision. I submitted my application on 3/2. I have been told it is under reviewing.

so did you call and ask about the status and they told you it was under review?

I got an email

me too iget the same message!! i applied feb 28

I am waiting for the office to open to ask them about the authorization and see what happens.

Is meeting the priority deadline submitting your app before 3/1 or the school receiving all the supporting documents by 3/1?

I think it is based on when you submit your application online. I have been told that it usually take four week for them to update you supporting documents.

Since people said that decisions are sent out on Fridays, does that mean we won't hear about anything during the other days? Or will it span throughout starting Fridays? The waiting game is killing me

For me,my application is not very strong. I thought I would not be considered at this point. Good Luck everybody

I was told that both your application and supporting documents need to have been submitted before the priority date. If you mailed out your documents and they received it before March 1st, they said they have someone time stamp your documents so they know which documents were submitted on time. They do take about 4 weeks to update on Albert, but because they time stamp all the mail they receive that determines who meets priority. I called the office a few times regarding this so I believe this is how they run things!

I haven't heard either and I applied on January 30th.
