NYU ABSN Fall 2018

Hello all,

I decided to start a thread for the NYU accelerated nursing program since I have not seen one for fall 2018:)

So I am trying to access my decision but when i click "our online portal" i get to a page that says "The account '______' is not authorized." has anyone else encountered this ? What does this mean

I called the IT they told me they cannot do anything and need to call admissions and they will tell me the decision which is weird because I did not think it is allowed to give a decision over the phone.. i do not understand if a decision was made or not and am hoping it is not bad

I saw your posts in 2018 spring thread. Did apply 2018 spring?

I got an email on 4/5 saying my admissions decision was available to view on my Albert account. When you sign into Albert, click on the applicant tab and then select application status. At the top right, click on the purple 'admission decision' box. It will bring you to an application decision page where you can select and open your decision letter. You do have to make sure pop ups are allowed or else the decision letter will not open. Hope this helps everyone trying to navigate Albert.

Yes I have applied in the spring but got denied the letter stated there were too many applicants in the pool. I got into two other programs but I did not want to relocate.

hm.. I just did that I do not see the admission decision box at the top right hand corner. All I see is:

"First year Regular Decision applicants, please see our decision instructions page to check your admissions decision. If you see a purple button above, you can access your decision here."

So when I click the decision instructions and try to access the portal to see anything I get to a page saying my account is not authorized. So maybe a decision was not made yet even though I applied first week of February. The page has changed since last cycle. I think I will call the admissions office like the IT desk told me and see what happens!

Did you receive an email from admissions notifying you of a decision? If not, a decision likely has not been made yet on your application. Good luck!

Yeah, it is hard to relocate. Hope, we can get in for this Fall

No I have not. But last cycle I randomly logged onto my albert and got a decision, only received the email 2 weeks later. Thank you ! :)

I think the decision has not been made yet. I received an email from the admission officer on 4/5. She told me that something is wrong about my application and she needs my confirmation to update my application to the right track. Otherwise，I will not be considered. Because when I was working on my online application，I accidentlly selected the Non-ABSN option. But，I knew they are reviewing my application for now. Lol
