NYU ABSN Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone was applying to NYU for the ABSN program in fall 2017? I'm kind of nervous because my GPA isn't the highest since I had to work all four years to help pay for school which took away from my studying time. I do have work experience in the health care field and a little over 100 hours of health related volunteering. Also, how is everyone planning on paying for school since it is soo expensive?

@ tea.ns If you go to Application Status, there was a link that read Admission Decision at the top and clicking on that led to the decision letter.

FutureRNV- I feel everyone has a unique story, so I don't think my resume will mean anything for anyone else. Experiences related to healthcare, people, and science, can only help you, and will justify pursuing a nursing career. Also, from reading posts for this program, it seems mostly As in prereqs are necessary.

I checked my Albert, no Admission Decision link. Boo hoo, the wait continues. :(

How do you check application status? I went to mine, and it just shows that my checklist is complete. Can someone help me?? Or does this just mean I haven't received a decision yet?

Hey, I applied early September for fall 2017.

anyone know when I'm supposed to hear back, or did I apply too early for the fall cycle, and have to wait even longer?

What does your Albert checklist look like? NYU said all of my documents were in received, but my LORs do not show on the checklist. Congrats to everyone!

Same with mine. LORs aren't there, but I know they were sent. Are you just going to wait and keep checking Albert for a decision?
