NYU ABSN Fall 2016

I am looking into applying for the NYU ABSN Fall 2016 program. I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips and thoughts on what I should know when applying for the program.

Anyone got accepted today??? Nothing for me... Still :(

Yeah I think , we will hear something on Tuesday and Thursday , if it follows the trend . :down: Maybe the 12,14, 19, and the 21 , and I heard some people were hearing and getting notices until June , and also being rejected in June . No need is sometimes good news , hopefully , we will hear something next week , fingers crossed .

Got accepted yesterday but I still haven't made my deposit.

I hope!!! I called NYU... They told me that in aprox. 6 weeks after the deadline for priority, (if you applied for priority),you should get the decision ... This week was 5 weeks... Next week will be 6, so we should know! :)

Hey guys :)

I was also accepted yesterday via email around 12PM est. I am so excited to start this journey and can't wait to meet everyone! I would love to connect with anyone who have also decided to go!

If this helps anyone at all - my undergrad and pre req GPAs are 3.4 and 4.0 respectively. I had about 100 hours of volunteer experience at MSKCC, and took an internship with an online mental health forum.

I applied with those stats for the fall 2015 cohort and was rejected. In the year that I wasn't accepted, I started a full time job in an unrelated field and solo-traveled to Europe for 42 days + am now on a three month tour of the USA.

So to anyone who is waiting, or trying- don't give up hope! Continue to grow as your own person, and don't allow one schools decision to sidetrack your career choice. I wish everyone the best of luck! ❤️❤️

Congrats on getting accepted! Your stats look awesome even to get accepted in 2015! Did you ever find out why were you rejected???

I didn't get a chance to find out =\. I was waitlisted first, and eventually rejected three weeks later. I know my essay was a lot stronger the second time around, and I had a full time job. I don't know if either were decent qualifiers for an acceptance, but I also attribute it to personal growth in other areas of my life. :)
