NYU ABSN Fall 2016

I am looking into applying for the NYU ABSN Fall 2016 program. I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips and thoughts on what I should know when applying for the program.

Gosh I hope not! My classes doesn't end until July 25th

I called yesterday to check the status of my application and the woman told me "everything is complete!" My stomach is in knots I'm so nervous!:barf02: Also everyone's comments have been so helpful! Thank you!!

According to previous threads people were accepted prior to finishing their pre reqs... some finished them over the summer before starting the program so I doubt you'll have to wait. If they're inquiring then I'm sure its a good thing.. stay positive =)

I think I'm going to try calling tomorrow and see what they say, lol. What number did you call? Undergraduate admissions? Nursing?

I called 212-998-4500 !

I wish they could just tell us over the phone:cry:

I e-mailed the admission officer that contacted me in the morning and asked if the acceptance decision will be made once my grade in Nutrition will be submitted, he said that I am going to get my decision before that but he is trying to make sure that I will remember to submit the grade as soon as I will get it because w/o it I won't be able to register for classes. I guess we are admitted ( unofficially) :nailbiting: we will probably get "the e-mails" on Thursday!!!!

I have microbiology pending but it's on my transcripts so I never got that email. Come join me in the acceptances!!! :)

Hey I have some medical assistant experience too!! I bet they love the patient contact hours :)

I agree ankar22 see good signs on your way! It's just not an official acceptance.. They want to keep messing with your nerves. I do not have any pending.

I agree.. I think they really look at those patient care contact. I think that plays a huge role and also the essay

If they said they wanted you to remember to update that pending grade so you can register for classes... That has to be a yes or tbeyre just plain evil lo!!! In other words.. Don't tell anyone yet but smile and giggle to yourself super happily until you get official notice! This is awesome and you better share time and date of acceptance haha also any changes in Albert prior to the email :) if you don't mind lol

I made up with both my essay and resume (work exp) .. Where I lacked with mediocre grades but I honestly don't know how to feel. Only time will tell though and hopefully we all hear something soon.

Wnat field did you MA in?
