NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

For the accepted students, anyone get an email about class registration?

I got an email this morning, I am on the waitlist.

I heard it's only one person that manages the class enrollmens for all the ABSN students. They said if we don't hear anything by the end of the month, then call to follow up.

Did anyone get the email for setting up your school email, etc?

I also found out this morning that I was on the waitlist =/. Good luck to everyone else who is waiting for the ABSN/Transfer!

I know how to set up the school email. Let me get on my computer and give the steps if I remember. It should do it automatically when you login, but if not you have to do it manually.

SweetDreams, I did received an email regarding class registration yesterday. It stated that I will be registered for classes by June 22nd and that there is no need for me to register myself as it will be done by them. Also, in ending part of August to September, I will meet with an Advisor and we should set up our emails so as to receive further information. That's all I remembered from that email. Hope this helps!!!

If you don't mind me asking what was your gpa? I don't graduate college until may 2016, but will apply this fall '15 for the program. My current gpa is a 3.1 in my junior year, I did okay in gen chem b&c and for orgo 1&2 A as far microbiology i received an A. Do you think I may have a chance in being admitted? I still have to take statistic, nutrition, a&p and the human development class, however my school doesn't offer the psychology or nutrition class.
