  1. I heard it's only one person that manages the class enrollmens for all the ABSN students. They said if we don't hear anything by the end of the month, then call to follow up. Did anyone get the email for setting up your school email, etc?
  2. I was trying to avoid calling because I know they get the same questions a thousand times over, but I broke down and called today anyway. June 15 / mid June is the new word on the street for notifications. This has been th most nerve racking process ever! I asked if if we would get notifications regarding being wait listed. I didn't get a very definitive answer. The impression I was left with was that we wouldn't. *feeling like Rudy Ruettiger*
  3. Waiting :-/
  4. I am still waiting, too. I'm glad you posted the above. I was beginning to wonder if maybe I was the only one without word........ Like perhaps I missed the email ...or my application was lost....uggg or every other scenario the nervous mind can come up with :-/ The admin offices have a holiday on Monday. Maybe Tuesday we will have something? Surely they would tell us if we are on the wait list, right? I don't know about you, but I just want to know one way or the other. Best of luck
  5. Does Albert reset the checklist if you are rejected ? Or does it just say the same old stuff?
  6. Does Albert blank out if you are rejected? Or does it still show your check list?
  7. I'd also be interested in buying books
  8. I was contacted April 7 regarding a missing document. My maiden name was on one form, and it was erroneously mixed up. It had been submitted with my whole packet, and they eventually located it. (But talk about being stressed out! ) *sigh* No word here :-/ yet so nervou
  9. Gab, check all your email boxes. They should have sent a letter on how to set up a NETID.
  10. Saw the same. Thank you for the reply. I was pulling my hair out trying to find what everyone was looking at. :-/ I saw my profile and preferences, but no way to actually enroll in classes. Email on Albert states " unavailable" I was really thinking we were going to hear something on national nurse day. Haha The NYU website states our acceptance / decline of any offer will appear on Albert under application status. So nervous. I really want to call but you know they are probably being slammed with people calling.
  11. Where do you see NYU classes? On Albert? Or somewhere else?
  12. Ug, no joy. Sorry you heard the same, Gwen. St Francis has a rolling application. They use nursing cas so you won't have to go through another application grind. I think NYU has a Spring start program too, but I'm not sure. Word, I drowned that rejection email with some 16 Handle Yogurt and Insomnia Cookie, yesterday. It helps. They are conviently co-located on the UES, if you are out this way, too!
  13. I received a negative on my application. Feeling super low right now. I moved here from Texas after several years in the Army. I am a disabled vet with two bronze stars from two deployments. My GPA was 3.555 at Hunter and 3.67 at San Antonio College (Texas school I also attended for prerequisites) All As and two Bs (org chem and micro) in all my prereqss. 141 on nursing exam Volunter EMTB licensedin both Texas and New York :-/ What they are looking for, I don't know. i hope you guys received better news than I did.
