NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

Just got my acceptance letter this morning!! I will not be going into the accelerated program right away since I still have some more prereqs to finish but I'm hoping to start the nursing program in the spring! Any other people planning on taking prereqs at NYU in the fall as well? Now it's on to finding loans and housing....

Laurendiane, I will be taking prereqs in the fall if I get in. I am still waiting on a decision.

Are there any other accelerated applicants still waiting to hear or are you all applying to the regular BSN?

Call me cynical but I have a sneaking suspicion they're not gonna be finished with their decisions (as they claim) by the end of this week.

I was reading last years thread and people were still hearing (accepted/rejected/wait list) as late as June 11th it seems. I believe the website says decisions will be made by June 15th, so it might be less stressful to just use that as the cut-off instead of trying to guess when it will be every week. Some of the people posting in the last thread also had conversations with admissions where they said decisions would go out "by the end of the week" and this didn't end up being the case. The waiting is definitely the hardest part! Good luck to everyone though :)! If anyone wants to freak out together or completely distract ourselves with another topic, feel free to message me!
