Anyone still looking for housing? I'm really interested in living in Stuytown since it seems that's where most NYU students live who have moved off campus. Since I live on Long Island, I'm not panicking about finding housing since I can commute, I'd just prefer not to, especially on clinical days when we have to be at our hospitals at 7:30 am

Also, does anyone know if there's a Facebook group or anything for our cohort group?

I'm also looking for roommates from the program to live with as well if anyone is interested. I'm very interested in stuyvesant town because it's close to the nursing school and I know a lot of NYU students live there as well.

Hi everyone! I'm Lauren and I was accepted into the ASBN program for Spring 2016. I'm currently at NYU right now finishing up microbiology and then will move into the nursing sequence in January. I actually found out my clinical placement and I will be at NYP Cornell in the Spring. Now it's time to figure out the whole financial aid situation and then begin to look for apartments

Hi all! So in response to all of the questions, I was able to apply so early because I applied to the Second Degree program which means that I was accepted into the accelerated program on the basis that I completed the prerequisite courses I had left to complete at NYU. Since I only needed to take micro, I'm currently taking that at NYU now and will be moving into the accelerated program in the Spring. The wait to hear back from NYU with a decision was excruciating since I got my application in around maybe January and didn't hear back until mid May, but I know that the decision for Spring will come sometime before the beginning of January so hopefully the wait for a decision for the Spring won't be as long as mine was

Hi everyone! I was just accepted to the NYU accelerated nursing program and will begin the program in Spring 2016 on the basis that I complete and pass all of my prereq courses. I was just wondering if there is anyone else that is in the same boat that I am or will be applying for admission into the program for Spring 2016. Can't wait to meet some of my future classmates!

anyone have any idea how long it takes NYU to provide information about any financial aid awards after getting accepted?

Just got my acceptance letter this morning!! I will not be going into the accelerated program right away since I still have some more prereqs to finish but I'm hoping to start the nursing program in the spring! Any other people planning on taking prereqs at NYU in the fall as well? Now it's on to finding loans and housing....

For housing for the accelerated program, do you apply as an undergraduate or a graduate student because I know the program is technically listed as an undergraduate program. Also, do you know if its possible to request another incoming accelerated nursing student as a roommate?

Hi All! Does anyone have any information about when acceptance letters come out? I've had my application in since early January and I'm starting to get anxious/impatient waiting for a decision lol
