Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?
It takes a while to get that information. I got my letter of acceptance in the mail almost 2 weeks after I got the e-mail. Same goes for the e-mail you'll get with instructions on how to activate your e-mail address. You will get an e-mail from the Assistant Director of Undergraduate admissions that will have everything you need to get started. If you are an accelerated student, almost all of that info is also found on the new student's website under the nursing sequence link (https://nursing.nyu.edu/students/new-undergraduates/nursing-sequence). As for the financial aid, I got an e-mail from the financial aid office a week after my acceptance e-mail. Don't hold your breath though. It looks like the college only gives a $3,000 scholarship per semester. If you live in New York State you will also get a TAP grant based on your financial need from FAFSA. The rest of the package will only be the federal loans and work study you qualified for based on your EFC from FAFSA. Hope this helps!

For the rest of us still waiting, did you all apply before the March 1st deadline?
