NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

i did the same thing because nothing was showing on albert and i applied over a month ago. i called admissions told them i was checking for the status of my application and she just asked my name she was able to tell me that they received all my documents . they said decision letters won't go out till may -june .

just called as well. all documents in- I asked specifically about LOR and that's when they transferred my call. I suggest that everyone calls too, the woman i spoke to was very helpful.

No. I called and emailed. I made sure to send stuff in before the rush right before the deadline.

@alypol Yes she was , I'm glad I called because I was checking albert 24/7 lol that really helped put my mind at ease a lil lol. i recommend that everyone call as well I don't think they're going to update albert anytime soon . Goodluck to you !!

I just wanted you all to know that everything has been checked off on Albert for me. The recommendations are not on there, but hopefully they have those. My recommenders sent them by mail and also my email. You should all check Albert for updates. I wish everyone good luck and hope we hear good news soon. Enjoy the rest of your day.

My Albert screen doesn't even have a little box for letters of recommendation, but everything else is checked off, so I'm assuming they got everything anyway. lol

Maybe it's because they're not technically required for admission

I've asked the admissions office about the LORs showing up on Albert. They said there's no spot for them, so don't worry if they're not showing up. Your best bet is to call them and they can confirm "We have a LOR from XYZ..."

Yes, definitely call if you have any doubt about items arriving. I emailed with no response, but on the phone they were very helpful (and fortunately they received my LOR, phewww!!). Good luck everyone!!

Hi All!

Does anyone have any information about when acceptance letters come out? I've had my application in since early January and I'm starting to get anxious/impatient waiting for a decision lol
