NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

@danrutgers Congrats on your accomplishments so far. I applied for the Fall accelerated nursing still waiting on my acceptance letter however I have a question about campus. do you live on campus or close by ? if so what are the dorms like is there possibilities of choosing to live with room mates of the same major on /off campus ? approximately how much is the tuition for living on campus ? any insights would be great. thank you.

Hi everyone! I've been following NYU's ABSN threads for awhile and finally decided to make an account! I am applying to Fall 2015 also. All of your stats look great! Mine personally are 3.71 GPA for undergrad and 3.77 GPA for grad, both in psychology. I am a registered CNA and also volunteer at a hospital. I am currently finishing pre reqs and am really excited/nervous to hear from NYU! Good luck to everyone!

can anyone message me the admissions counselors email? i called admissions and sent an email about two weeks ago regarding my letters of rec, but no response, and no change regarding receipt of them on albert. i'd like to speak with someone before the april 1st deadline just to be safe, even though i applied for priority. thank you!

@alypol I tried to send you a message about contacting nyu but sending emails to you is disabled. Have you gotten an email from nyu saying they received your app bc they have a email where you can send your questions to

@tmath @koala_love49 hm, sorry about that. not sure why I can't get private messages. but yes, I sent the email to the address you provided and the one that was in the email they sent when they received the app. no response, im getting nervous now since others have had issues with LOR...

@alypol I'm getting nervous too about my LOR not arriving.. I emailed that address tonight and I got an automated response saying that they received my email and will get back to me. I hope that is a correct email because regular deadline is already on Thursday!

@koala_love49 yes, I emailed it again and got that same, automated response. hopefully we hear something tomorrow so if there's an issue, we have time to get the letters (and maybe even transcripts) emailed by the deadline.

final deadline is wednesday, april 1st if all our materials haven't been received...

I think most people who sent the letters by mail have said that it has been lost including mine. What I did was have both my recommenders send it through email or fax and they got it within the next business day
