NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Published

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

Hello All,

I just submitted my application recently, and received an email confirming the receipt of my application. When do you receive an Albert log in?

btw- Good Luck to all of those who have applied :)

I received the log in email about five business days after I submitted the app.

Hi All!

I also applied to the program and have everything checked off and everything should've been received. However, I do not have the recommendations letters checked off but they are not there either. Does anyone have them present? Also, is anyone worried about the total program costs? I'd love to go and it is my top choice but 80k is definitely something to think about.

The only thing checked off for me is the application fee. I sent it with my letters and other things, but those don't appear. I assume everything is there, as it was in the same envelope. Also, nothing is listed as "missing".

Hey there all. New on here. Great info sharing about the program. In the boat. Waiting game is killing me but we're almost there. Submitted my app and supplementals, transcripts before thanksgiving. Letters submitted during January. Looking forward nervously and patiently to hear.

Anyone from CA (or SF)? Whose looking to do student housing? Any info on inexpensive apt share (possibly with others in program)?

lol I feel the same way. hopefully our hard work pays off.

btw, when i checked albert, my fee is checked off but now there is this other box that says high school transcript and test score. I'm a little lost. I'm graduating with a double major degree. Were we supposed to submit that?

You will get an email in about 5-7 days =)

im super nervous.

Good Luck to ALL of us!!!!

BTW to everyone applying;

When logging in to Albert, it wont tell you everything you need to know. In order to officially check your statues, you will have to call NYU nursing. I called and the lady told me that they have received my recommendation letters and everything while on the website Albert, it is still not updated. If your as nervous as me, call them to check.

im not really sure about that but good luck finding one. Its really expensive, even when sharing with a roommate. there might be an orientation, If we get accepted, and you can maybe ask around there. hope this helps

btw; welcome =)

you will have to call NYU nursing. I called them and they told me they officially have everything, its just that it takes time for Albert to be updated.

im also worried about the cost but we are invetsing in our future.

IF we get accepted and i hope we all will because i feel like this tread proves our dedication to the schools program, they will inform us on the options for paying.

dear all;

i know im going crazy with the messages but i keep getting new information.

i looked up the NYU Spring 2013 thread and someone whose GPA was a 3.9 and had amazing everything got rejected! thats so scary!!!

i feel like the one thing that may differentiate us from others is our personal struggle. but my nerves are on edge. =(

Mine looks the same way. I read some previous forums and they said its fine and since we are transfer second degree students we do not need to send those in. I guess they have have that field defaulted for everyone.
