NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

OMG!! I hope that for they offer a seat to all of us who are still waiting!!!

I just spoke with one of my nursing instructors who used to live in NYC and worked along side with some professors in the nursing program at NYU. She said its a very good program.

Aaand now I just hope there's space for me and the others that are waiting to get in!!!! OMG I'm such a nervous wreck!

Hello all! My name is Michael from California and I also applied priority deadline for NYU. I still haven't heard back and am on the same boat as many of you, crossing my fingers! Congrats to everyone who got accepted already.

I come from a different background from many here. I have a bachelors from UCSD in Psychology, and worked as a substance abuse counselor after graduation. I also have volunteer experience at a home of the aging.

My undergraduate GPA from UCSD was a 3.2, my prereq gpa is 3.6. From what I have read, many applicants here have outstanding marks, thus I am kind of worried as well!

Im SO nervous about not getting a decision yet!! Did she say when she thought that decisions would be out by? AHhh this waiting game is killing me.. Did she make it seem like a lot of people who did not hear back yet would get in?

Hey everyone,

I went to SUNY (new York state school) for my undergrad degree in psychology and health science. I graduated with a 3.26 GPA. After graduating, I have been working as an anesthesia technician for 2 and a half years. I have been taking pre req classes at a CUNY (new York city colleges). I am finishing my last pre req, ANP2 in 2 weeks. I took nutrition online. I currently have around a 3.8 GPA for my pre-reqs.
