NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Published

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

Any people who have been accepted already who taken pathophysiology? Im still waiting on acceptance but just wanted to see if NYU takes this course as credit. My other school doesn't and requires me to take it over once I am in the program...

I have not taken pathophysiology, but I'm not sure if they will take it as credit or not. But on a positive note you will have an advantage because you will know the material really well when you take it a second time!

For those who received their decision responses, Was it sent in the mail or did you find out on the Albert login page on the NYU website? Thanks =)

I haven't received my response yet but I think they are getting an email with their acceptance/rejections and a package in the mail later on. The Albert page gets updated a few days after you get your response in the email. Hopes this helps.

Basically like mairayhans described. I received an email and my snail mail packet came much later (like a week and a half, but I live in an area notorious for poor postal service). The Albert site either updated a few hours later or was up to date and I missed the green box to accept/reject the offer when I first looked. Good luck!

had anyone received financial information yet?

I got my financial aid info on Saturday morning

If you don't mind me asking

Did they give you any money to make the school affordable? Are you happy With your aid?

If comfortable answering....what was your efc?

thank you!!!

the package was not huge, but i kind of expected that as i still have outstanding loans from my first undergrad. it was actually a bit more than i expected. anything helps make the cost manageable. i don't really remember my EFC, but i know that it was higher than anticipated, but understandable due to the prior student loans.
