NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

NYUCN 2nd bachelors program folks are not required to do CSS. Only fafsa.

nvm for my question. i called financial aid and they said all i needed to do was my Fasfa form, not the css profile.

it was an application that said needed to be done for scholarships but it turns out it was only for incoming freshman. I thought it was for us.

no news yet. I think its because of spring break that a lot of things got delayed.. But i hope we all hear good news.

did anyone apply as non-accelerated candidate so that they can take the prereqs at nyu before starting the absn program immediately after finishing them? any news on when we hear back on that decision (since technically we arent competing with the fall 2013 candidates)? is it also more competitive to be taking applying to take prereqs there? thanks

I also applied to finish my prerequs at NYU and would officially be a Spring 2014 start in the ABSN program. I was told when I called admissions that they would notify in late April. I also didn't apply priority. They also said this route is more competitive at the Open House. I do know of three people in my Chem class who applied this way and were accepted so it does happen! Keeping my fingers crossed.
