Hi Everyone this is my first post. I was lucky enough to score an interview with NYP where I met with a hiring manager as well as a director of a unit. I am wondering for those who have applied for RN positions how long did it take to hear back with a job offer? Or possibly a job denial. I would love to hear from those who have ben hired here as I am really anxious. Thank you.

I work with a nonclinical department full time while Imdoing full time BSN program. I was able to finish it in exactly 4 years. I am now with the nursing department working full time, and I just got accepted in grad school. I also plan to do graduate degree full time.

My last interview was for PICU at Cornell which was my BEST interview yet but nope! They said “SIKE” LOL. I accepted a position at NYU’s Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital on their Congenital Cardiovascular Care Unit (CCVCU), the only children’s congenital cardiovascular service in NYC. I’m excited for the learning experience. In any regards, good luck to everyone waiting to interview and to those who’ve already interviewed, hope you hear back with good news!
How long did it take for you to hear back from talent acquisition at NYP after your last interview?
Hi everyone!
I interviewed for a position at NYP and am so confused about the whole process. I did 3 interviews over 3 weeks and it seemed as though they really liked me and made it sound like I would be getting an offer. I was told I would hear back within 1-2 weeks. The main HR person was out of office for a few weeks and I have not heard from her. I was told by someone else from HR I would be hearing "soon", and I also emailed the manager expressing my interest and her reply was also that I would be hearing back "soon". My application online still says its in process and I am very stressed with all this waiting and would like to know either way if I got it or not. Has anyone else experienced a process like this recently??

Hi there. Where can I locate this RN study guide?

Hi, I am in the same position as you are! My application changed to in process today and that supposedly the talent acquisition team will reach out to me again. What does this mean? And how has your process been so far? Did you get the job? Is in process a good thing? ?

I definitely think it depends on the recruiter. I worked with two and one was very efficient, quick, moved things along (I almost felt rushed) and the other much slower. Keep applying

Don’t wait for the talent rep to keep you updated because a lot of them just say that as a formality. I went on the NYP website last night and applied for two other positions because you never know. And plus if they keep seeing your name constantly popping up, I think they’ll be more inclined to give you another call! I remember I applied for 4 different positions for Morristown Medical(NJ) and the recruiter called said “I see you applied to a few positions which are your top 2” and I got interviews for both . So if you see a position you want and it doesn’t have any experience required , apply, don’t give up !
This is basically exactly what I did. Continued applying to the units I wanted to interview for over a period of 10 months and I finally got a call. And then an offer. You have to just keep putting your name out there.

Depends on the school you picked. I went to CUNY so I was able to maximize the benefit.
