NYC new grads- question about license verification.

Published

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can shed some light!

I recently passed my NCLEX after verifying through Pearson Vue Quick Results. I'm wondering if any recent new grads (2016-2015) could shed some light on about how long after taking your NCLEX did it take the board to post your license number or their website AND how long it took to get your actually license in the mail?

This waiting game is almost as bad as the two days it took to know my results via PearsonVue...

thanks for any help!

I took the exam on August 4th last year and it was up three days later. Hopefully, it should be up within a week.

Mine took a good two weeks post test date. I called the NY BON and they told me that they were particularly swamped--so don't worry too much if you see yourself at the 2 week mark. It probably just depends on time of year.

Thanks!! @rn2be15

@belljar1995 do you mind telling me what time of the year this happened for you? I'm trying to figure out if this is the same time so I'll know to expect longer, shorter, or about the same time frame.

Thanks!!

this was early march-- which makes sense because all the dec/jan grads come through. my sense is now is a terrible time with may/june grads--but hang in there--it WILL post!

Hey, I took the Nclex on June 23 and my license was posted online today July 12... It took a little over two weeks.

did you call first to find out why it took that long?

I just took the NCLEX on 7/1 and got my Pass on quick results on 7/3, my license was just posted online yesterday (7/12), but I am still waiting for the physical copy in the mail. I assume it took a little longer because of my test being a holiday weekend and the high volume of new grads this year.
