NYC Job Applications

Hi nurses! I recently applied to a job on the NYP website. Literally, no more than 2 hours later, the status of my submitted application changed to "no longer in consideration". I am getting discouraged. Has this happened to anyone else before? Can anyone, who is working or applying to NYP, explain how the process works and what further steps I should take? Thank you for your support.

Hi! I applied on 4/1 and I got an email yesterday from a recruiter.

Hey! I think it went well! I want to work in peds so since this was just the general recruiter she told me now that she'll send all of my info over to the pediatric recruiter and she should reach out to me soon. I know their children's hospital is very small and generally has long waitlists to get a job so I'm not expecting anything soon but this seems like a step in the right direction ?  how was yours?
