I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?
7 more nursing schools under FL education review, see list below that will also affect NY license.

Florida's Commission for Independent Education has ordered seven nursing schools allegedly tied to the fraudulent degree scandal to pause graduation and enrollment activities through March, the state confirmed to Becker's Feb. 15.
The commission held an emergency meeting Feb. 10 to consider action against the institutions, all of which are presently or have been connected to at least one individual charged for their alleged participation in the sale of phony nursing degrees and transcripts.
The seven nursing schools were ordered to cease graduation and enrollment through at least March 31. Of these seven, four have voluntarily ceased all operations for an indefinite period to conduct an internal audit. Each institution must also provide lists and contact information for all current students, graduates and faculty, along with "any and all NCLEX numbers the institution uses or has used in the past," a spokesperson for the Florida Department of Education told Becker's.

Per NY interim report: Florida Nursing School Investigation they are going back to 2016 to review credentials; even to 2003 for Siena College.
Class syllabus, test results, clinical placements, student course evals, any emails from instructors, etc will all be needed as proof that actual education occurred. Those that bought diploma will be denied license/have license revoked due to "moral character" issue of FRAUD.
Those who actually attended these schools, should get together for lawyer to request class action suit against school operators, IMHO.
