I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

I mean as long as you did not attend none of those then I would not be worried....I mean reading the article these people didn't even go to nursing school and the program was terminated
Like I said the investigation is not over that's why the list is long. No one know what was going on before the news actually came out so stop assuming that she's only liked to those schools, that's why there is an investigation still going on by certain BON and eventually all those people arrested will start talking to get a reduced sentence. No one is in the clear yet so you can't tell people don't worry. Yes, we all want a good out come but we have to live in reality that we just don't know what these people did and didn't do.

Some are just making things up but yeah when the program is terminated if won't show up on BON
Well only time will tell
If people didn't attend no type of clinical or classes and bought fake degrees they deserve to have their license revoked . Nursing school was very very tough and to find out people just handed 15k and got a degree yeah that don't sit right with me and it shouldn't with no one...

And I'm not assuming that's just what I found online as of now

Again a lot of people mentioned that schools are not answering and frankly the schools can't help them now, the people in the school are trying to save their own asses if they did do anything wrong and that's just a fact. Some of those schools have also been closed a long time now so there's no point in calling.

Only thing they can do is wait it out. Seems like fl BON hasn't done anything as of yet....but I've seen ga, ny, and mass.
Thought only people from the 3 schools listed they were revoking their license again even if you did attend those schools as long as you can prove that you attended classes I don't see the issue if they wanted to revoke people licenses they would have done so by now. The whole investigation thing unfortunately gonna take awhile for those waiting on their licenses I'd suggest take another route maybe.

Yes along with them being connected with 3 other schools. To my knowledge ny has been investigating schools since last year. So who knows how long the investigation is going to last. And considering all these students from the scam flocked to mainly New York because of the unlimited tries then other states....it may be a long process

I know somoene who works at NYS BON and that is who told me the types of nursing school information they are seeing and what schools are under review by them. now how ever you take the information is how you take the information. commons sense says if people are willing to make fake transcripts for real nursing schools why wouldn't they make up fake nursing schools and to go with these fake nursing degrees
