I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?
Well! Since those 3 schools were being investigated only by the FBI why the rest of you are still freaking. Did y'all attend one of those 3. If so I'd suggest to call FL BON to find out about the status. I remember someone post on here that their license was revoked they went carleen I wonder if she was license in NY.
Okay makes sense I saw an article about how they aren't accepting
OK! Tina thanks for clarifying as long as you have your compact license I wouldn't care if I was you did you go to any of those 3 schools.

I graduated from Florida and not from NY. I also took Florida exam and get multi compact state. The problem I encountered is when I try to endorsed my RN license to my state which is Washington and they denied my application because the school is unaccredited and did not meet Washington minimum requirements.
The reason they denied your applications it's not because the school is not accredited because you don't really have to graduate from accredited school to get a license here in WA, it's because the school is "neither Commission approved or not equivalent to Commission approved nursing education in Washington".
Yeah. Wish I new that from the begining. Thanks for your infor.

That is not what their web site says:
http://www.carleenhealthinstitute.org/associate-in-science-in-nursing-.html
Applications for the Associate in Science in Nursing are no longer being accepted at the Lauderhill campus. Applications for enrollment in this program are still being accepted at the West Palm Beach and Palm Bay campuses.

I'm not talking about carleen. I was talking about students who attend palm beach. Wondering if the state will contact them or do students need to contact the state, since the everything came out.
