  1. Not yet. Still searching.
  2. I put all of my hard work into nursing school and finished the whole nursing program including clinicals. However, the only option to passed the program is to passed HESI or ATI exit. Long make it short. You don't get know what type of exam you will be getting until the day you take the exam. This got me freaking out because I don't know what to focus. HESI and ATI questions are totally different from each other. This is why I fail because of anxiety built up. I hope no one ever have to go to any school that only rely on one exam to determine if you pass or fail nursing. I passed my NCLEX first time to prove the school that I have the knowledge and skills to become a nurse. Now I try to apply to public school to repeat my LPN to RN program all over because I believe in myself that I can do it. Just because the school scam me. I don't have to be a victim. Mistake happens, I just need to moving forward. Anyone who is in my situation please don't give up. Keep moving forward ?
  3. I did try to take the exit exam from the school but I didn't passed. School HESI requires 80 percentage to pass and I got 79. They want me to repeat the whole program. If it would you...will you start the program from the beginning and repeat the exit exam with the fear you may or may not passed the exit by 1 point?
  4. Do you know if the school has exit exam prior to graduate?
  5. Anyone know good program online accredited school for RN to BSN?
  6. Hi all, I plan to attend LPN to RN program at Galen nursing school in Saint Petersburg Anyone know anything about their exit exam and grading system. please advise.
  7. I did file complaint but nothing they can do for me since I sign the contract with the school policy. I didn't know what to expect from the beginning. Never ever again I will go to any private school. Please read the school contract carefully before you start any private nursing program.
  8. I guess every school graded HESI scores differently. I scores 905 on HESI and school covert my scores to 79.2.
  9. I know exactly what you are talking about. I am feel the same way as you. Jersey school in Tampa don't want to prepare us for our real exam and expecting us to pass. We just go by luck ....if you out of luck, you are on your own...they don't give a *** a bout us. ...excuse my language but that how I feel. The Florida commission told me that they will save my complaints for future record when they audit the school. I encourage everyone should file complaint to Florida educational commissioner so they can see this is ongoing issues with the school. School took our money and careless about help us to achieve our goal.
  10. What is your next step may I asked?. If you find any solution please give us update. Thanks. I try everything but come back with no solution. As you already see my update. I hope the nursing commission can do something to stop this school from using exit exam to prevent student graduate. It is sad to hear more student in the same situation like me. This new rule only applies to New Jersey state not in Florida. I hope Florida board of nursing can applied the same as New Jersey board of nursing. This way all student get opportunity to graduated. Don't ever let they think if you can't pass exit exam. You can't pass NCLEX. NCLEX is much easier than school exam. Did the school give you options to start long audit program?
  11. Updated Jersey college demand that I have to repeat long audit which I refused therefore they withdraw me from school. Now I left with nothing. They use their policy and agreement that was sign by me to support their documents. Be aware don't be like me, read the whole policy before you sign up with school. If I can turn back the time I wish I will never attend jersey college...they will not go extra miles for you....is all about money....so be careful. I wish that no one will never be in this situation. I have some of student from Jersey college contacted me and asking for help. But there is nothing I can do or advise them since we are in the same situation. I am giving up with this school. I am hoping with this post will help future nursing student choose better nursing school before signing up.
  12. Deelovely, I think is better for you to write a letter to the education commissioner file complaint about the school. That's way they will do their own investigation on school. I did write mine. Same thing happen in New York where Jersey college operates the same way and the New York education commissioner issues school to stop using HESI as a way holding students from graduate due to many complaints files against school. Together we can make some changes.
  13. Yes. I agreed with you. Lawyer would not help. I did try to reach out to school and asking for owner but they won't release any information to me. I was told by the school after failing my HESI. They reach out to the president of the school and was told by the president that since I pass the NCLEX they give me another chance to retake the whole nursing program. That's is not a choice for me. I have no choice but to write a letter to commissioner and if it not work out I will be sending letter to ACEN.
  14. I did send a letter to Florida education commissioner. I will send letter to ACEN as well. Thanks for your advise. I will keep you post it.
