NY state license to other state

I am a new grad having a NY state license. Do i have to give my NCLEX in order to acquire another state license? How do i do it? I am thinking of moving to Washington state. Please help.

If moving from one state to another you will not have to pass NCLEX again or even sit it but meet the state requirements for endorsing

Hey its easy, go to the Washington state board of nursing, here's the website:

Sometimes different states have different endorsement procedures and the period of time to get licensed sometimes takes a while. Hope this helps

If you are already a license nurse in NY then you will need to send them a verification form (you get that from the state you want to endorse to) and $20 (or at least that's the amount I had to pay back in May 2008).
