:zzzzzHAPPY TUESDAY EVERYONE... I WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAD INFORMATION ON NURSING SCHOOLS WITH NO NLN OR NO ENTRANCE EXAM. I WAS GOING TO TRINITAS SON..AND IT WAS THERE I COMPLETED ALL MY PRERQ'S. THE LAST CLASS I COMPLETED WAS CHEM IN THE SUMMER IT WAS GREAT SUMMER CLASSES ARE ALWATS BEST... ANYHOW IVE BEEN SPEAKING TO CURRENT AND PRIOR STUDENTS OF THIS SCHOOL AND THEY ALMOST WITH THEY DIDNT EVEN START THEIR NURSING PROGRAM THERE. WITH THAT BEING I NEED A SCHOOL WHERE THEY DNT MAKE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO GRAUDATE. I LIVE IN NY AND I AND IM NOT CROSSING JERSEY OUT BUT I DONE WANNA WASTE MY TIME AND ENERGY AND REGRET IT. DA314 362 Posts Dec 9, 2008 I think most schools require some sort of pre-admission testing, to weed out the people looking for an easy ride.
bookwormom 358 Posts Dec 9, 2008 It seems to me that if you're passed Chemistry and other pre-requisites and feel like you did pretty well, you have a shot at passing an entrance exam. I agree that some schools now sound like they are making it difficult to graduate (at least if you read some of the allnurses.com posts), but remember that many students do take the entrance exams, learn what they need in nursing school, and pass boards. It can be done. It's not easy, but you probably realize that by now.
